Job Description

Brecka Farms Ltd is a farm-based business located in the rural area of Alberta.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced farm worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A clean driver's abstract
  • A Class 1 driver's license
  • A minimum of grade 12 education or excellent reading and math comprehension skills
  • Knowledge of farming practices and techniques
  • Ability to work long hours during peak seasons
  • Experience with mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as tractors, skid-steer loaders, forklifts, and combines
  • Knowledge of irrigation system maintenance and repair
  • Comfortable with using technology such as GPS and equipment monitoring systems
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily farm operations
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Assist with crop management and harvesting
  • Participate in irrigation system maintenance and repair
