About the Role

CUREX MEDICAL & WATERLOO PHARMACY is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Aide to join our team. As a Pharmacy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy staff in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support: Assist healthcare professionals with various tasks, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceutical products.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient supply chain management.
  • Administrative Support: Schedule and confirm appointments, assist with billing third-party insurers, and maintain supplies and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to strict quality control standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Language: English (Work Language).
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
