Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Southern Health-Santé Sud. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work to full scope of practice, engage in ongoing education, and maintain competency congruent with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies, Professional Standards of Practice, and College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Code of Ethics.
  • Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods, and action to be taken on unusual matters.

Requirements:

  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Completion of Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Program.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics.
