Chatters is seeking a confident and people-oriented Salon Manager to join our team in South Calgary. As a Salon Manager, you will be responsible for multi-tasking and keeping things running smoothly in our busy salon environment.

A little about what you bring to Chatters:

  • Enthusiasm for all things beauty
  • At least 5 years of experience in a retail leadership role, including sales performance, operations management, and inventory management
  • Previous salon experience is a great asset
  • Ability to build rapport with guests and team members, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills
  • Superior time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets
  • Knowledge of computer systems, including Point of Sale, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Gmail
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best
  • Day, evening, and weekend availability
  • Problem-solving skills and a high level of reliability

  • Manage retail operations, including sales performance, inventory management, and customer service
  • Analyze and improve systems and processes to drive business growth
  • Oversee guest appointments and ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Coach and train the sales team to achieve store sales targets
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and merchandised salon environment
  • Manage product inventory, ordering, and pricing
  • Monitor budgets, payroll management, scheduling, and cost of goods management
  • Provide a welcoming environment for guests and beauty consultants
