About the Role:

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a provincial Radiation Therapy program, committed to clinical excellence through evidence-based standardized care and knowledge generation.

Clinical duties are likely to include working at multiple sites, depending on departmental needs and skills of applicants. In addition to their clinical duties, the candidate will participate in research, administrative, and educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care as a Radiation Oncologist
  • Participate in research and knowledge generation to advance the field of Radiation Oncology
  • Contribute to administrative and educational activities to support the provincial Radiation Therapy program

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia
  • Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent qualification
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities
  • Familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism
