Job Title: Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Tsubaki of Canada Ltd. in Maple Ridge, BC.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual lathes, mills, saws, drills, and other support equipment. They will also be required to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills. Familiarity with Mastercam is an asset, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret drawings
  • Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, saws, drills, and other support equipment
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills
  • Inspect parts to confirm quality
  • Operate a forklift and overhead jib and gantry crane
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
  • Apprentice or red seal certified Journeyperson machinist
  • Experience operating manual lathes, mills, saws, drills, and other support equipment
  • Ability to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills
  • Familiarity with Mastercam
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
