We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mortgage Specialist to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a Mortgage Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping customers achieve their dream of home ownership by providing expert guidance and support throughout the mortgage application process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with a referral network to build a pipeline of new mortgage business and increase BMO's share of the home financing market.
  • Actively identify sales opportunities and refer to BMO colleagues as appropriate.
  • Develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs to drive business results.
Requirements:
  • Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills.
