Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all internal dailies sessions, taking notes, and maintaining our internal production database. They will also assist with the movement of shots between teams and departments and communicate status updates to ensure the delivery of shots on schedule. Provides administrative support to the production management team and supervisors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate regular reporting on progress to Department Management and Production Leadership as needed.
  • Prepare internal and external reviews and take notes, as well as assist editors with conform maintenance and transfer assets across facilities.
  • Communicate with department teams and answer any shot-specific questions that may arise.
  • Ensure internal shot tracking database is up to date.
  • Support coordinators and department staff with daily tracking and upkeep.

Requirements:

  • Background in film, art, communications, or related field.
  • Diligent, resourceful, meticulous, and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail coupled with exceptional people skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
  • Proven production experience in an established facility is a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience in a highly technical/dynamic department is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills and a sensitivity towards deadline-related deliveries.
  • Able to handle multiple changing priorities in a dynamic environment and be able to understand how this impacts departmental schedules.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, and Office.
  • Knowledge of Nuke is a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of stereoscopic production and 2D/3D conversion is a plus.
  • High-speed internet required for employment.
