Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic Trainee to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a Diesel Mechanic Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced mechanics with fueling and maintaining our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with fueling and washing vehicles
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Prepare daily reports of fuel and oil sales
  • Order stock and price incoming goods
  • Rotate or replace tires
  • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic mechanical aptitude required
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5 and ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months of being hired required
  • Willingness to work in non-climate controlled environments
  • Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems
