About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at AJA Contractors. As a Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our interior and exterior projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate with our team to ensure timely completion.
  • Client Communication: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, and provide expert recommendations to ensure their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions
