Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatric Healthcare Consultant to join our team at St. Joseph's Health Care London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives and facilitating co-design approaches to support the development and implementation of evidence-based strategies in the Regional Geriatric Program of Southwestern Ontario (RGP SWO).

This role will involve working closely with hospital staff, physicians, older adults, caregivers, and community stakeholders to implement best practice strategies and achieve measurable, sustainable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and facilitate co-design approaches
  • Develop and implement evidence-based strategies to support health system improvements for older adults and their caregivers
  • Collaborate with hospital staff, physicians, older adults, caregivers, and community stakeholders to implement best practice strategies
  • Manage process improvements/lean projects and assess and evaluate program outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Health Sciences, Public Health Policy, Social Sciences, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Business
  • 3 years of experience in the healthcare sector with a focus on Quality Improvement and/or Knowledge Translation
  • Experience in leading/influencing practice change in either a business or health setting
  • Proven ability to lead patient and family engagement initiatives using an evidence-based co-design approach
