Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective, compassionate, and supportive interaction with residents and colleagues.
- Respect for residents' autonomy, dignity, and right to self-respect and privacy.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and regulations influencing nursing home operations.
- Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
