Salary: $74,100 - $136,500 per year

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team. As a Data Scrum Master, you'll play a key role in optimizing data processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Integrated Project/Sprint Plans, ensuring successful delivery of confirmed scope on time and on budget.
  • Manage project financials, risks, issues, and change to support teams and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate Scrum Events: Sprint planning, Daily standup, Sprint reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Refinement.
  • Identify and remove obstacles and impediments, supporting the Squad and Product Owner in implementing Agile principles.
  • Facilitate collaboration, Stakeholder Engagement, and project involvement, ensuring alignment and priorities.
  • Embody Agile values and principles, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Understanding of Agile in a Scrum Master / Scrum Coach role, with Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications.
  • Experience working in data-related change, understanding data analytics, data engineering, data governance, data quality, data security, and data science processes.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in data-related projects, with accreditation in relevant fields like Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics.
  • Ability to adapt Agile and Scrum practices to unique data challenges, aligned with business and delivery needs.
  • Expertise in Lean, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban, DevSecOps, and Design Thinking.
  • Understanding of project mindset and Agile@Scale approach, creating/supporting new teams, coordination of teams for new products.
  • Effective governance and stakeholder management, IT and Business risk and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager delivering initiatives using Hybrid and/or Waterfall methodology in the insurance sector.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with Project Management tools like Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Project.
