About You

You are an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and with attention to detail. You are well-organized, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, and have a talent for building strong business relationships.

Previous experience in merchandising, particularly in the food retail industry, is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Perform merchandising tasks at multiple retail stores, prioritizing effectively and in accordance with corporate objectives.
  • Maintain sections, including proper rotation, restocking, and distribution of all products.
  • Secure additional/incremental off-shelf displays.
  • Replace and/or repair fixtures as required and place POP materials, including shelf tags and signage.
  • Place product orders and work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Promote special buying opportunities, displays, and new products.
  • Perform any necessary POG changes and make recommendations to maximize sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department personnel and store management.
  • Submit daily visit reports and call reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Previous merchandising experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
  • Able to commit to the length of the contract.
  • Smartphone and internet access required.
  • Competitive hourly rate starting at $20.
