Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
- Build and Install Structures: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to create safe and secure structures.
- Install Fixtures and Hardware: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a smooth and functional finish.
- Conduct Site Surveys: Survey building locations and levels to ensure accurate placement and installation of materials.
- Supervise and Lead: Supervise and lead other workers to ensure efficient and safe completion of projects.
- Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, team player.
- Experience: Experience an asset. Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
