St Barbara is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join our team at our open-pit gold mine in Moose River Gold Mines, NS.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $41.97
- Comprehensive healthcare and dental plan, plus RRSP matching after probation
- Generous vacation package, including 80 hours after probation and additional time after one year
- Overtime opportunities available
Schedule
- Full-time hours/week
- 4 days on, 4 days off rotation
- 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
- Day shift: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Night shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
Duties
- Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment
- Participate in maintenance planning and optimization
Requirements
- Licensed as a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or Block 4 Apprentice
- Class 5 driver's license, unrestricted
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
