Job Description:
As an Assistant Catering Manager, you will be responsible for creating event folders with labels and including relevant event information. You will also assist the Catertrax team in customizing the software to fit our needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for procuring all necessary items for catering orders, coordinating with rental companies, and managing all catering related orders. You will also be responsible for all setup, tear down, and staffing of events. Furthermore, you will assist in updating and adding events and proposals to the Catertrax program, handle client complaints and feedback, and work as a lead server when necessary. You will also provide a professional attitude and proper business attire when on-site, ready to meet or service a client at any time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create event folders with labels and include relevant event information
- Assist Catertrax team in customizing the software to fit our needs
- Procure all necessary items for catering orders
- Coordinate with rental companies
- Manage all catering related orders
- All setup, tear down, and staffing of events
- Assist in updating and adding events and proposals to Catertrax program
- Handle client complaints and feedback
- Work as a lead server when necessary
- Provide a professional attitude and proper business attire when on-site, ready to meet or service a client at any time

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with at least two years of experience or a combination of education and experience
- Computer experience required including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs
- Demonstrated experience planning meetings and events, including scheduling, communication with clients and post-event billing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, problem-solving and completing multiple tasks with priority and deadline
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends
