Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at BBZ Building Supplier Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ship orders and prepare materials for distribution
  • Weigh and measure materials and goods
  • Pack and unpack goods, and ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods, and maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods, and ensure timely delivery
  • Organize and maintain inventory using computerized inventory control systems
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Hardworking and organized individual with a strong work ethic
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of professionals. The work environment is physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
