Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment in the main fry processing line and performing upstream grading functions to meet operational goals and customer specifications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate line flow through processing functions including peeling, blanching, ingredient addition, drying, frying, freezing, budget pounds, recovery, oil usage, retail percent, and energy conservation.
  • Maintain uniformity, color, texture, solids, product temperatures, defect loading, weights, and freezing using process control.
  • Ensure necessary communication with team members and support groups regarding line conditions.
  • Report food safety and safety hazards to proper personnel and follow up to ensure corrections.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication division, and percentages) for making adjustments and calibrations as required.
  • Ability to work with analytical testing equipment such as pH meters, scales, Agtron, graduated cylinders, etc.
  • Strong time management, self-motivation, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills related to dealing with all levels of staff in the organization and externally.
Salary Range

This role offers an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
