Job Summary

Avro Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Line Haul to join our team. As a Line Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country, following established routes and schedules.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and make any necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and other relevant information, and complete necessary paperwork.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Skills: Valid passport, bondable, driver's validity license check, driving record check (abstract), medical exam, valid driver's license, attention to detail, judgment, organized, reliability, team player.
Work Environment
  • Work Type: On the road job.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
