About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Operations Supervisor to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our Drilling & Workover department, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs working for our client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and oversee the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs.
  • Ensure that contractors meet all requirements of their contract.
  • Work with Drilling and Workover engineers to ensure modern drilling practices are followed.
  • Approve contractor's daily tour report.
  • Ensure that contractor rigs and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime.
  • Ensure that our blowout prevention standards are met in all respects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 7 years of experience working in drilling and workover operations.
  • Or completion of ITC with 13 years of relevant experience in drilling and workover operations.
  • Willing to live in remote areas in mobile camps.

Our Hiring Process

Interviews Stage:

  • LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview.
  • Client interview containing technical questions and a behavioral evaluation.
  • Additional video interviews with hiring managers.

Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.

Relocation Process

After your offer is accepted and all conditions for employment are met, you will be assigned a relocation advisor from LHR Americas.
