The Finance Manager, Corporate Accounting is a critical role within the Corporate Finance team, overseeing the preparation and submission of financial reports to stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical and technical skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation of financial reports: Prepare and/or review corporate accounting journal entries to ensure timely and accurate submission to regulatory bodies.
  2. Equity program management: Lead equity programs accounting and reporting, collaborating with senior management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Project leadership: Drive special projects as assigned by senior management, leveraging technical expertise to deliver results.
  4. Legal entity accounting: Manage legal entity accounting, including intercompany transactions, to maintain transparency and control.
  5. Policies and procedures: Develop and implement financial management policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to GAAP guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Canadian CPA, CA designation (US CPA will be considered) with minimum 5+ years of post-designation accounting experience.
  • Experience: Proven hands-on experience in Corporate Controllership of a public company or Public Practice Accounting firms, analyzing and incorporating GAAP guidance in complex business transactions.
  • Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, with experience in financial reporting systems.
