Compensation: $20 – $22/ hour (full-time / permanent)

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contents Technician to join our team at On Side Restoration. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will play a vital role in helping clients restore their personal and commercial items to their pre-disaster state.

The Job – Contents Technician

As a Contents Technician, you will work closely with customers to assess and restore their damaged or destroyed items. This will involve packing and cataloging contents from disaster-affected areas, creating inventory lists, and using specialized software to track and manage the restoration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to restore personal and commercial items to pre-disaster state
  • Pack and catalog contents from disaster-affected areas and create inventory lists
  • Use Encircle Restoration Software to track and manage the restoration process
  • Clean and restore contents and structures
  • Clean fabrics and textiles
  • Perform general labor and cross-training to support construction work
  • Participate in demolition activities as needed

  • Interest in learning various general labor roles in the construction side of restoration
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry, and pack boxes
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • Able to satisfy On Side's criminal record check requirements
  • Ability to communicate in English or French at an intermediate level

Past Industry Experience:

Construction, general labor, demolition, supervisor, renovations, landscaping, industrial or commercial cleaner, mover, packer.
