Job Summary

JEET TRANSPORT LTD. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Language: Valid driver's license and fluency in English
  • Work Environment: 40 to 44 hours per week, with a focus on a permanent work term
