About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Integrity EIT/Engineer to join our team at Kingston Midstream. As a key member of our Integrity team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Integrity Risk Management processes, procedures, and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain our Integrity Risk Management processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize risk exposure.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant work practices, and provide technical support for maintenance and inspection activities.
  3. Lead the design and implementation of our Risk-Based Integrity Management Program (RBIM) to prioritize maintenance and inspection activities for tanks, pressure equipment, and pressure piping.
  4. Coordinate risk model data collection and input, and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Facilitate stakeholder reviews to identify and discuss risks, develop mitigation plans, and scope work for inclusion in our annual budget and long-range plan.
  6. Educate internal and external stakeholders on Integrity Risk Management principles and strategies.
  7. Provide technical support to optimize asset reliability and apply cost-benefit and fit-for-purpose principles.
  8. Participate in or lead investigations and reporting activities associated with departmental incidents or facilities loss of containment events.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and recommend improvements to our RBIM Program.

Requirements:
  1. Engineering degree or suitable technologist designation.
  2. Registration as an Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba.
  3. 2-5 years of experience in facility integrity, facility and pipeline operations, with demonstrated risk management capabilities.
  4. Experience in risk-based inspections, inspection, reliability, risk assessments, condition assessment, root cause analysis, failure investigation, welding, corrosion control, and mitigation for oil operators.
  5. Working knowledge of relevant API Recommended Practices.
  6. Certification in relevant API standards is required.
  7. Statistical knowledge and experience with GIS systems and risk management software (RBIM) packages is an asset.
  8. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  9. Demonstrate a high degree of personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  10. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  11. Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Kingston Midstream offers a flexible work practice, allowing office employees to work from the office and remotely. This position may work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, and in our office on Tuesdays to Thursdays.
