Job Title: Project Manager - Mechanical

Located in the Halifax office, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Mechanical to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for handling and executing multiple complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a technical expert, providing guidance and support to project teams as needed.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including project sponsors and clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the mechanical building services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
