About the JobThe successful candidate will assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions. You will also promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $20.96 to $23.20 per hour, plus a $750 signing bonus for new hires. Additionally, we provide paid mileage at 0.45 per/km, travel time, and a robust benefits package including health, dental, and life insurance, as well as access to continuing education and training opportunities.
Job Requirements- A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, including early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
- A valid driver's license and vehicle
- Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
