We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Consultant to lead the development and execution of impactful energy efficiency and decarbonization capacity building projects for a high-profile client. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the creation and delivery of engaging content tailored to diverse audiences across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage capacity building projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external consultants and technical experts to ensure that the training content is technically accurate, visually appealing and aligns with client needs.
- Develop, review, and maintain materials focused on energy efficiency, decarbonization, and energy management.
- Conduct research and data analysis to support the creation of high-quality deliverables adapted to different target audiences.
- Ensure continuous communication with clients and stakeholders to guarantee project alignment with their expectations and adjust accordingly.
- Provide all other required technical assistance or advice for various projects.
- Academic background in Engineering, Energy Management, Energy Policy or Planning, Environmental Science or a related field.
- Five to ten years of experience in energy efficiency, energy management, decarbonization, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in consulting and/or in project management.
- Knowledge of the Ontario energy sector and Conservation Demand Management (CDM) landscape.
- Great English communication, both orally and in writing, and ability to effectively communicate scientific content.
- CEM or CMVP Certification – An asset.
- Proficiency in French – An asset.
