Cowan Insurance Group, a leading independent insurance brokerage and consulting operation, is seeking a Multilingual Risk Management Consultant to join their team. Located in Canada, this role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This position involves providing exceptional customer service and risk management solutions to businesses, organizations, and individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the ongoing activities of clients with Third Party Administration (TPA) / Third Party Payor (TPP) services, resolving escalated client issues, and coordinating with internal departments and/or carriers.

  • Support Consultants and internal partners in managing client activities.
  • Resolve and address escalated client issues and inquiries.
  • Provide service support to clients and members relating to the administration of group benefit plans.
  • Determine and work towards resolution of discrepancies found within contracts, booklets, and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French, with at least 3 years of professional work experience in a similar role. A completed post-secondary degree or a combination of equivalent professional experience is also required.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong prioritization skills and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
