Servus Credit Union is seeking a Service Operations Leader to join our team at our South Hill branch in Red Deer.

The Service Operations Leader will be responsible for leading and coaching our Member Service Representatives to identify our members' needs and recommend, refer, or provide products and services that enhance their financial fitness. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating and coaching employees to find opportunities to shape members' financial fitness
  • Being proactive in pursuing new business opportunities
  • Adhering to policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk of loss
  • Providing support, guidance, and training to all employees as necessary to ensure performance improvement and cohesive teamwork
  • Understanding and meeting the needs of our members by providing them with advice on appropriate products and services, and/or identifying opportunities to refer members to appropriate team members or external partners
  • Demonstrating an expert understanding of all branch security procedures

To qualify, you will need at least 4 years of retail banking experience and your high school diploma. Although not required, previous leadership/supervisory experience, post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies) are valuable assets.
