About the Role:

  • Oversee the migration of applications from Informatica ETL to Azure Databricks.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert or lead for the Databricks migration program.
  • Review the quality of deliverables, including designs and goals.
  • Provide tactical advice and feedback to ensure successful migration.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in Azure Databricks ETL processes and PySpark scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of data from legacy Informatica systems to modern Azure Databricks solutions.
  • Develop and implement ETL processes using PySpark scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data migration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data migration projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of Azure Databricks and its storage solutions.
  • Strong experience with PySpark scripting language.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, both legacy Informatica systems and modern solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in banking or financial services is advantageous.
