We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Motion Shere Punjab Transport Ltd. as an International Route Specialist.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 or A driver's license and possess a strong knowledge of international routes, regulations, and customs clearance procedures. They will be responsible for transporting goods across borders, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, navigating through various locations and adhering to strict time schedules;
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and handling procedures are followed;
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents required for international routes, including customs clearance and border crossing requirements;
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, prioritizing road safety and security;
  • Maintain the condition of vehicles, performing regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly;
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation;
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, following strict regulations and guidelines;
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A);
  • Strong knowledge of international routes, regulations, and customs clearance procedures;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Flexibility and willingness to relocate for extended periods;
Salary and Benefits:

Our competitive salary is estimated at $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
