We are looking for an experienced Risk Management Specialist to lead our risk management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies, providing expert guidance on financial risk management practices, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Provide expert guidance on financial risk management practices to junior team members.
  • Lead projects related to risk management, capital optimization, and IT solutions for Credit Risk quantification.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients in the banking sector.
  • Prepare and supervise contracts, define the scope of projects, and negotiate fees with clients.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

">
  • A Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), Finance, Economics or a directly related field.
  • Eight (8) years of financial risk management experience in a consultancy firm or bank or financial institution.
  • Six (6) years of experience in consulting engagements with financial services clients in the USA, Mexico, and Spain.
  • SAS and SQL programming skills.
