About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Funeral Director to join our team at Temple's Funeral Home Ltd. As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to families during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Funeral Planning and Coordination: Work closely with families to plan and coordinate funeral services, including selecting caskets, urns, and other funeral merchandise.
  • Embalming and Preparation: Embalm and prepare human remains for viewing and burial or cremation.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to families, listening to their needs and concerns, and ensuring that their expectations are met.
  • Logistics and Operations: Oversee the logistics of funeral services, including coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including obtaining necessary licenses and certifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Embalmer Licence, Funeral Director Licence, Driver's License, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manual dexterity, attention to detail.
