Job Summary

Morskate Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Labourer - Metal Fabrication to join our team. As a Labourer - Metal Fabrication, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting metal workers, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
Work Environment

The work site environment is noisy, and the work setting is a metal products manufacturing company. The work conditions and physical capabilities required include being physically demanding, having manual dexterity, attention to detail, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal suitability: Dependability, reliability, and team player.
