Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement Salesforce applications following best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and ensure high-quality services.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver exceptional results and exceed expectations.
  • Research and implement new Salesforce capabilities to stay ahead of the curve and drive innovation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials to support knowledge sharing and capacity building.
  • Provide operational support and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts to guarantee high-quality outcomes.
  • Participate in code reviews and system development activities to promote excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Offer knowledge transfer to ministry staff to build their skills and capacities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of full-cycle software development experience, including design, development, testing, and support.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with Salesforce development, specifically with Public Sector Foundation.
  • Hold a Certified Salesforce Developer certification with strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Flows, and system configurations.
  • Show proficiency in integrating Salesforce with third-party applications (e.g., SharePoint, Security APIs, SendGrid).
  • Have experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GIT, Visual Studio).
  • Exhibit expertise in database technologies (Oracle), BI tools (MS Power BI), and cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Familiarity with Ontario Public Service policies and labour relations processes is essential.
  • Possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to excel in this role.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA) and experience in developing bilingual applications is desirable.
