Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for providing project support for various Talent Acquisition programs and processes, with a focus on sourcing candidates. This role is ideal for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing world-class service to customers, colleagues, and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report progress on job vacancies on a regular basis and communicate with management team
  • Build strong relationships with Human Resources Business Partners and hiring managers
  • Communicate with and train managers on talent acquisition best practices, interview guides, and legislative requirements
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws and regulations relating to employment standards, human rights, privacy legislation, and employment equity
  • Work independently on special Talent Acquisition projects as assigned by TA Manager and/or business leaders
Requirements
  • Excellent computer skills (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong proficiency working with data analytics and reporting
  • Proficiency in social media, with a strong command of platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) certification is considered an asset
