Director of Operations

At Better Talent by Laveer & Co., we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our short-term rental property portfolio, ensuring seamless operations that drive exceptional guest experiences and strong homeowner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture and collaborative environment.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with business goals and drive growth.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day management of property operations, focusing on efficiency and high service standards.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new properties, ensuring seamless integration and setup.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of properties to ensure they meet the Luxus Brand standards and remain competitive in the market.
  • Manage supplier relationships and inventory, ensuring timely procurement and quality standards.
  • Ensure all properties adhere to regulations, addressing potential risks and maintaining compliance.
  • Manage operational budgets and expenses, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership, ensuring clear communication across departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior operational management.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in operational software and tools, including property management platforms and data-driven decision-making tools.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:
  • Annual Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 (CAD) commensurate with experience and performance.
