Ophthalmologist - Neuro Specialist

We are seeking a Neuro-ophthalmologist to provide consultation services at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre. The successful candidate will join an existing group of neurologists and another neuro-ophthalmologist, providing neuro-ophthalmic care to patients referred by fellow neurology or ophthalmology colleagues, transfer of care from other neuro-ophthalmology staff, GP's, optometrists, and other medical subspecialists.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro-ophthalmology, with a fellowship completed after an ophthalmology or neurology residency. They will be eligible for FRCPC registration in Neurology and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
Responsibilities- Provide consultation services at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre
- Collaborate with existing neurologists and neuro-ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in undergraduate and post-graduate medical education through the University of British Columbia
- FRCPC registration in Neurology
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
- Neuro-ophthalmology fellowship completed after an ophthalmology or neurology residency
