We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2285546 Alberta Ltd. as a Financial Record Keeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST and PST.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
