Role and Responsibilities
As a Simulator Technician at CAE, you will be part of a dynamic team that is expanding its training centre network. Your role will involve working rotating shifts and irregular hours to cover a 24/7 operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily pre-training checks to ensure the simulator is in good working condition.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks to maintain the simulator's performance.
- Review discrepancies and determine the appropriate action to clear them.
- Perform daily visual setup and calibration to ensure the simulator's accuracy.
- Conduct regulatory requirements, such as QTGs for recurrent qualifications and pre-inspection checks.
- Brief and debrief flight crews on the daily simulator status.
- Make customer-specific configuration changes to meet their needs.
- Enter and keep current deficiency reports in the database.
