Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Retail Procurement Specialist to join our team at Edmonton Tire & Lube Ltd. O/A New Millenium Edmonton Tire & Lube Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in arranging product according to planograms, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and negotiating prices and credit terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange product according to planogram to ensure optimal store layout and customer experience
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms
  • Negotiate transportation arrangements with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
  • Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and value for customers
  • Staff in various areas of responsibility, including product acquisition and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
