Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Brian McLean Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they are safe and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Tasks:
    • Discuss work with supervisor to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
    • Inspect motor vehicles in operation to identify potential issues.
    • Review work orders to prioritize tasks and ensure accuracy.
    • Road test motor vehicles to ensure they are safe and running efficiently.
    • Test automotive systems and components to identify any issues.
    • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as needed.
    • Repair or replace mechanical units or components to ensure vehicles are running efficiently.
    • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are running efficiently.
    • Test and adjust units to specifications to ensure accuracy.
Work Environment

As an Automotive Service Technician at Brian McLean Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced technicians. You will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards, while also providing excellent customer service.
