About the Role:
The Scheduler will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects at EllisDon. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can create and manage complex schedules, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules, incorporating resource and cost loading data as required.
- Analyze and incorporate outstanding contract requirements and deliverables to ensure the schedule meets the client's and EllisDon's expectations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to create short-term schedules and monitor their impact on the master schedule.
- Identify and record the impact of work performed and owner changes in the scope of work according to the schedule, providing regular schedule updates.
- Proactively identify and resolve schedule conflicts, working closely with the Project Manager or Superintendent to ensure effective project delivery.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or diploma in construction or engineering, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Five years of construction scheduling experience or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Working knowledge of computer scheduling programs.
- Ability to coordinate multiple schedules, solve schedule conflicts under pressure, and understand complex building sequences.
- Solid knowledge of the Critical Path Method.
- Ability to obtain CISD Secret Clearance.
