About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Real Flooring Inc. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and Install Flooring Materials
    • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process.
    • Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors to meet customer specifications.
    • Prepare and install hardwood floors to a high standard.
  • Inspect and Repair Flooring
    • Inspect damaged floor coverings and repair them to prevent further damage.
  • Prepare Floors for Installation
    • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to ensure a clean installation surface.
    • Prepare floors for installations by cleaning and inspecting them.
  • Perform Direct Glue-Down Carpet Installations
    • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations to meet customer specifications.
  • Work Environment and Hours
    • Work as a permanent employee with a 35-hour workweek.
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
