Job SummaryThis is a permanent position with an estimated salary of $30,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits. The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week and be responsible for administering personal care, assisting with daily tasks, and providing companionship to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist clients with feeding, laundry, and household chores
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly individuals
- Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, and provide transportation to appointments
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with meal planning and grocery shopping
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience working with elderly individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
