About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our Water business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on project controls best practices to project teams.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project controls, with a strong background in project management and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project and Primavera.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of project controls best practices.
