We are looking for a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a Field and Infusion Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including patient homes and specialty clinics.



Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to patients in their homes and specialty clinics, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Assess and monitor patients before and after infusion treatments, documenting any changes or concerns in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including patient records and treatment plans, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on product monographs and treatment protocols, either individually or in groups.
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints to the appropriate authorities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Travel to clinics and patient homes within a designated geographical area to provide care and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other stakeholders to set up appointments and deliver treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.


Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in the province.
  • At least 1 year of experience in IV therapy and infusion nursing.
  • Experience working in a critical care, emergency, acute care, inpatient, outpatient, or home care setting is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  • Business and financial acumen is an asset.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and application.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Effective organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to effectively work independently.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license and insurance coverage.
