Irrigation Systems Manager

Mr. Lawnmower Landscaping Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Foreman to join our team. As an Irrigation Foreman, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 2 people while performing services, motivating, coaching, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of up to 2 people while performing services; motivate, coach, and mentor team
- Complete daily paperwork, including equipment and vehicle checklists, work orders, and other required documents
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment, including sod cutters, Dingo, trucks, trailers, and compressors
- Implement the turf irrigation program, ensuring maximum efficiency, and apply appropriate schedules and application rates to water turf, grass, and flower beds
- Troubleshoot and repair system components, including heads, valves, and piping
- Assist in the installation of modifications to existing systems or the addition of new systems
- Assist in the implementation of the turf maintenance program, including top dressing, seeding, turf repair, and laying sod
- Line trimming and backpack blowing as required
- Perform other duties as required
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in the operation and maintenance of automated/manual commercial and residential irrigation systems
- Certified Irrigation Technician status (Landscape Ontario) or equivalent is an asset
- Ability to address clients' questions, comments, and concerns
- Familiarity with plumbing techniques and materials, as well as turf maintenance equipment operation and practices
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including bending, lifting, utilizing hand tools, and working in various weather conditions
- Valid Ontario driver's license (class G)
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Must provide own CSA-approved safety footwear
- Ability to work 7:00 am-6:00 pm spring, summer, and fall, and possible shifts from 12:00 am to 9:00 am during the irrigation season (Monday-Friday), and occasional overtime and weekends
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform the job safely
Mr. Lawnmower Landscaping Services Ltd. offers a competitive salary range of $24.00-$28.00 per hour based on experience. We are a reliable and professional landscape company with a commitment to excellence and quality. We have been serving the Greater Toronto Area since 2003 and have a very large client base in Toronto, Ontario.
