Job Title: Aircraft Engine Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Engine Repair Technician to join our team at MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and overhauling aircraft engines and mechanical systems to ensure they meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems
  • Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems
  • Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections
  • Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and written technical instructions
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1-2 years of experience in aircraft engine repair and overhaul
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a noisy and physically demanding environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
